RileyStrain,22,wasfounddeadintheCumberlandRivernearlytwoweeksafterhedisappearedfromanightoutinNashvilleonMarch8,2024.
Thelawsuit,filedbyStrain’sfamilyonMarch21inBooneCounty,Missouri,isagainsttheUniversityofMissourichapteroftheDeltaChi,ashisfamilyisworkingtoholdhisfraternityresponsibleforhisdeath.
Strain’sfamilyclaimsthathisdeathwasa“resultofthecarelessnessandnegligence”ofthefraternity,accordingtothelawsuitfirstobtainedbyWZTV.
