TheArkansasstateSenatepassedabilltoprovideage-appropriatefirearmssafetyinstructiontostudentslastweekandtheArkansasDepartmentofEducationwillbeworkingwiththeArkansasGameandFishCommissiontodevelopaplan.
Act229,alsoknownasHouseBill1117,willrequirepublicschooldistrictsandopen-enrollmentpubliccharterschoolstoannuallyprovidestudentswithinstructiononfirearmsafety.
