Three boys discover rare T.rex fossil in North Dakota

Threeboys–ages7,9and10atthetime–discoveredaT.rexbonepokingoutofthegroundwhilewanderingthroughafossil-richstretchofNorthDakotabadlands,andanupcomingfilmthissummerisgoingtofeaturetheirfind. ThetrioannouncedtheirdiscoverypubliclyonMondayduringaZoomnewsconferenceasworkersattheDenverMuseumofNatureandSciencepreparetobeginchippingthefossiloutofitsrockcastataspecialexhibitcalled“DiscoveringTeenRex.”Twoyoungbrothersandtheircousinsaidtheywere“completelyspeechless”whentheymadetherarefindinJuly2022.
