Antisemitic riot at Columbia reaches boiling point as agitators take over academic building, barricade doors

EarlyTuesdaymorning,hundredsofanti-IsraelprotestersatColumbia’sManhattancampustookoverHamiltonHall,anacademicbuildingusedbythedeanandothersenioroffices.Theunrulygroupgainedaccessshortlybefore1a.m.andthenbegan“movingmetalgatestobarricadethedoors,blockingentranceswithwoodentablesandchairs,andzip-tyingdoorsshut,”accordingtothestudentnewspaperColumbiaSpectator. OtherfootageshowedtheagitatorsinNewYorksmashingwindows,unfurlingaPalestinianflagoverawindowandchanting:“Fromtherivertothesea,Palestinewillbefree”and“Palestinewillliveforever.”Outside
